1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website function properly and provide a better user experience.
2. Essential Cookies
Required for the service to work. You cannot opt out of these without losing core functionality.

3. Analytics Cookies
We use Firebase Analytics to understand which features are used. Data is aggregated and anonymized - we do not build user profiles for advertising.

4. Payment Cookies
Set by Stripe during checkout to process payments securely and prevent fraud. We never see these cookies. See Stripe's privacy policy.

5. Hosting Cookies
Our web hosting provider Vercel may set technical cookies for edge routing and DDoS protection. These do not track individuals. See Vercel's privacy policy.
6. Local Storage
NellyTrack uses browser local storage and IndexedDB (via Hive) to store your data locally for offline access. This is essential to the app's offline-first design and is not used for tracking. Local storage is cleared automatically when you log out or delete your account.
7. Managing Cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent the app from functioning. To fully clear NellyTrack data, log out and then clear site data for app.nellytrack.com in your browser.
We do not currently display a cookie consent banner because we do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics cookies are aggregated and used only to improve the product.
8. Do Not Track
We respect Do Not Track signals for analytics where supported by the platform: if your browser sends a DNT header, Firebase Analytics events are not recorded.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when we adopt new technologies. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
